Legal Notice

The Town of Wolcott is seeking qualifications from engineering consultants to perform planning, design, and construction phase consulting services for the Town of Wolcott Salt Storage Facility project. Qualification packages shall be emailed to the Town Supervisor (eastportbay@yahoo.com) no later than March 2, 2026 at 5pm. The Town of Wolcott will be hosting an Electronics Recycling Event in collaboration with Wayne County Soil and Water Conservation District.

Open to ALL Wayne County residents

  • Computers and servers
  • Televisions of any type
  • Monitors & computer accessories
  • Fax machines, scanners, and printers (weighing less than 100 lbs.
  • Cables and cords
  • VCRs, DVRs, DVD players
  • Digital music players
  • Cable or satellite receivers
  • Video game consoles
  • Cameras and video cameras
  • Cash registers
  • Household applicances (no large appliances like stoves, washers, dryers, or dishwashers)
  • Industrial or commercial equipment
  • Security cameras
  • Telephones of any type
  • Calculators
  • GPS units
  • Motor vehicle small parts
  • Small freon-containing appliances (mini-fridges, ACs, dehumidifiers)
  • No longer accepting fluorescent bulbs

Town of Wolcott Spring Clean-up Day

Residents of the Town of Wolcott may bring unwanted items to the Town Highway Barn at 12681 Red Creek Rd, Wolcott, NY. Please bring ID showing residency. 

For any questions, please call 315-594-2214

The following restrictions will apply:

  • No cans, drums, or containers which have been used for chemical spray material, industrial, agricultural, or residential hazardous materials.
  • Any container over 5 gallons must have ends cut off and be crushed.
  • No junk or abandoned vehicles.
  • No household garbage.
  • Only clean tires accepted with no wheel weights
  • No electronics will be accepted.
  • Loose items must be bagged.
